I can't believe that the baby is a little over 8 months old now. The time has gone by so fast. since having him it took 6 months for my pelvic bone to go back into place, I can now to over in bed all on my own :) I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia, which explains why you can't even touch my skin with out causing me pain. The meds make me very tired and want to sleep all day. That is impossible with a crawling little boy that's curious about everything!!
Can't imagine what life was like before December. Our son has brought so much joy to our family. I still am very sore and waiting for my pelvic bone to go back into place. Lots of aches and pains are all starting to come back especially in my feet. Hoping it isn't anything that can't be handled w/a cortisone shot or something quick. I still will NEVER have another Mirena put in, I feel atleast 75% better since having it taken out.
I am so over due on posting this, I have had no time since the baby was born. TJ was born Dec 21st via emergency c-section, a healthy 7lbs14oz !! He is an absolute joy to us. Of course he takes up a lot of my time now and is just now learning to sleep through the night getting up 1-2 times but we give him his pacifier and he goes right back to sleep without needing to eat. We came home from the hospital on Christmas Eve just in time for Santa !!!
it's almost time for the baby to arrive!!! A lot of moving going around inside this belly, loads of sleepless nights the past couple of months. 19 days to go until my due date, I am hoping he comes a little early so we can spend Christmas at home w/Daddy+the other kids. The pressure and back pain is at times unbearable, but I know it will be over soon and it will all go away and I won't even think about it as soon as I see my baby boys face for the first time:)
Went for an ultrasound today, got to see the babies face for a short moment, he is very stubborn and wants to be face down. He weighs 2.6lbs and already has fully developed kidneys and his heart was beating @136 beats per min. A little over 10 weeks before I get to hold him and kiss him and tickle his little toes...I can't wait to kiss my lil boy!!
We made it to the 3rd trimester, a little over 12 weeks left before our son arrives, hoping he turns himself from his breech position before 34 weeks or he will be a c-section baby and I really don't want that recovery again. We have all we need for his arrival and he has a ton of clothes waiting for him to wear. If he comes on his due date of Dec23rd, we have a special Santa suit for him to wear home :)
little baby kicks and lots of movement makes me a very happy mommy to be. I am already quite used to not getting any sleep at night. This little boy isn't comfortable no matter which way I lay in bed or how many pillows I have tucked under my legs or back. It's ok though it is all worth it in the end. I can't wait to meet my little boy and love him unconditionally forever!!!
had a 20 week ultrasound to check the babies progress and he is growing great!! He weighs 11.5oz already and is right on target for his due date. The little stinker is breech tho and if he doesn't turn he will be a c-section just like his big sister was. I am definately not looking forward to that !! Already a smartypants giving us a wonderful thumbs up as the tech was doing her ultrasound photos of all his organs.
We are so very excited, we are already at 18 weeks and it's a boy. Now we will have an even number of boys to girls in the house with the exception of the cat hahaha. Our sons name will be Thomas Joseph " TJ" we have been blessed for sure with this new little bundle, can't wait to meet my little boy. He is due Dec 23rd, perfect present to our family from Santa !!
